How to Send Info For Your CBMS Web Page
To make the best use of your web page, please send the following information
for your CBMS Band on Call web page:
Please send the information in plain text e-mail!
1. Correct, complete contact information including website, if any.
2. Complete list of band members and instruments they play. Please
remember to contact us if this changes.
3. Photo of band (color or black and white). .jpg under 70K (under
50K preferred).
4. Identity of the folks in the photo if it is not obvious.
5. A phrase that is a brief description of your music, eg. "bluegrass
gospel" or "new grass and original bluegrass".
6. A bio of the band, it's accomplishments and what makes the music
distinctive.
7. A list of all recordings including small .jpg of CD cover and list
of titles on each CD.
8. Gigs -- Contact
Events to add to Web Page and keep them coming!
9. Accomplishments and awards and band member changes for the kudos
page. E-mail these to Webmaster
and keep these coming.
We will add your e-mail id to the list. When we have gig and promo
opportunities that come through the CBMS web page, we e-mail the member
bands to give the information. You'll need to give us access to get
through your spam filter.
Please send info in plain text e-mail (no Word Doc,
php, flyers or other attachments). It is used to cut and paste from
your e-mail to the web site to reduce mistakes.
Also, please don't refer us to your web page. We're
volunteers and have over 70 bands to support and promote for CBMS. We
do NOT have the time or inclination to go looking for information.
