In the early 1970s, he helped form the Colorado Bluegrass Music Society, which started the annual Bluegrass Music Festival at the Adams County Fairgrounds. (https://www.coloradobluegrass.org/history). David enjoyed weekly jam sessions for more than 60 years with the many life-long friends, some still picking and grinning.
