Dick Pierle was the founder of the iconic Old Blue Sound, which provided sound reinforcement for Bluegrass Festivals and concerts across Colorado and the western USA. Old Blue sound was nationally renowned for their expertise in catering to the specific needs of bluegrass bands and accompanying instruments. Additionally, Dick worked with various festivals in various roles, from booking and advising festival committees to running the whole show himself.
